WALKING ROUTES

- Eyam in The Peak District -

Eyam, in Derbyshire, is surrounded by a collection of wonderful places to walk and cycle.

There are some excellent walking routes in pretty much any direction from East View. Straight out the front door turn left up the lane heading north onto Eyam Moor and then across to Hathersage or head west towards Bretton and Great Hucklow where you will find The Queen Anne Inn and Eyam Brewery.

Alternatively you can head south from Eyam towards Stoney Middleton, then up a climb towards Hassop, Chatsworth and Bakewell.

Or there is east towards Grindleford, Padley, The Longshaw Estate, Froggatt Edge and Curbar Edge. Depending on how far and how hard there are walks of varying degrees in every direction.

As with the walking routes, mountain and gravel bike routes track out in similar directions with more adventurous circular rides extending to Castleton, Mam Tor and Winnats pass.

Here are a few of our favourite local routes.
